Today Income Tax Department Launched new website for filling ITR-1 And ITR-2.

NEW e-filling Website  www.incometax.gov.in 

Today (7 June 2021) launched new website. It will provide a modern, seamless experience to taxpayers.

Along with this it provide "Free of cost ITR preparation software with interactive questions to Taxpayers for ITRs1,4 (online and offline) and ITR 2 (offline). ITR 3,5,6,7 will be available shortly.

New e-filling portal features and benifits

> Immediate processing of incometax returns to issue quick refunds to taxpayers.

> Single dashboard to display.

> The detailed enablement of pre-filling with salary income, interest,divident and capital gains will be           after TDS and SFT statements are uploaded.

> New call center for taxpayer assistance.

>  Detailed FAQs, User Manuals, Videos and chatbot/live agent also provided.

> Functionalities for filling Income tax forms, Add tax professionals, Submit responses to Notices in              Faceless Scrutiny or Appeals would be available.
